The Lady Dior House exhibition in Vietnam, a celebration of the many facets of creation
Perpetuating its passionate ties to art in all forms, the House of Dior presents Lady Dior House, a unique itinerant concept dedicated to the iconic bag through the prism of its many reinventions.
As a captivating preamble, the visit opens with an emblematic Colorama, a marvelous cabinet of curiosities in which the Lady Dior flourishes in a palette of vibrant shades, enhanced by a powdery finish. A dreamlike odyssey, which continues through the exceptional creations of “Lady Dior As Seen By”, showcasing the dialogue sparked by the House with promising talents and the most influential figures on the contemporary scene. For Lady Dior House, Vietnamese artists Tia-Thuy Nguyen has been asked to share her reinterpretations of this object of desire, which thus serves as the blank canvas for powerful works embodying their visions.
“I envision a sculptural reimagining of the Lady Dior bag — one that is enduring, transparent, and poetic, radiating a pure energy of compassion. I want to juxtapose the solidity of stone with the softness of clouds, inviting the viewer to reimagine what is both delicate and powerful.”
