“I Was Here” by Artsa x ARG

Art meets the nature of Bodrum Loft through a collaboration between Bodrum Loft, Artsa Consultancy and Almine Rech Gallery. ‘I Was Here’ brings contemporary sculpture into the natural rhythm of Bodrum Loft. This marks the gallery’s first-ever exhibition in Turkey.

The show reflects on traces we leave behind—through a breath, a touch, a moment. From César Baldaccini’s monumental Pouce to Tia- Thuy Nguyen’s reimagined oak trees, each piece embodies presence, memory, and transformation.

Blending abstract form, ritual, and symbolism, the exhibition invites viewers to experience stillness and emotion in nature. It offers no conclusion—only the quiet echo of existence: “I was here.”
